Ralph Arrindell, 93, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away March 27, 2017. Ralph was born July 29, 1923 in Port of Spain, Trinidad where he resided until coming to New York in 1968 with the U.S. Navy. Some time later he brought his family up from Trinidad and they all lived in Brooklyn, NY. When he completed his time with the Navy, he became the maintenance man at St. Luke’s Hospital in Manhattan. Upon his retirement he moved to Port Saint Lucie in 1989 where he was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He met and married Mary Malwah and remained here to lovingly harass his family and friends for more than 25 years until he passed on gently on a soft, cool Monday morning. Ralph is preceded in death by his daughters, Lystra Moses, Hazel Walcott, Cassandra Hayes; daughter in-law, Conithea Arrindell. He is survived by his spouse of over 25 years, Mary Malwah; 4 sons, Norvan, Ralph Jr., Keith, Steven; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Malcolm; sister, Marjorie. A visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Yates Funeral Home, Port Saint Lucie Chapel. A service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10am at First United Methodist Church, Port Saint Lucie. Interment will take place at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port Saint Lucie.
